Lithuanian Prime Minister’s received in audience by Pope Francis Added 2021-09-03 On 3 September, Lithuanian ambassador to the Holy See Petras Zapolskas accompanied the Prime Minister of Lithuania Ingrida Šimonytė to a private audience with the Holy Father. This was the first meeting between the Prime Minister and Pope Francis. The Prime Minister thanked the Head of the Church for his consistent attention to Lithuania and its people.
Lithuania's Foreign Minister Budrys pays a working visit to Germany Added 2025-01-20 On 20 January, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Kęstutis Budrys, pays a working visit to Germany. The Head of the Lithuanian diplomacy will meet German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock in Berlin. The ministers will discuss bilateral defence cooperation, security of the Baltic Sea and the region, and support for Ukraine.
